A Celebration of Art, Creativity, and Connection

The World Bodypainting Festival 2025 in Finland has come to a close — and what an unforgettable celebration it was! Artists, models, photographers, and visitors from around the world came together to transform bodies into living canvases, merging creativity, color, and emotion into a truly unique experience.

Behind the Scenes

The whole event was brought to life by WB Production GmbH together with the wb-association.

The team took care of everything – from finding the perfect location and working with local organizers to handling marketing, sponsors, schedules, stage hosting, and the big award show itself.

They invited the artists, selected the international jury, and made sure everything ran smoothly. The result? A world-class event that celebrated bodypainting as an art form and brought the global creative community even closer together.

WBF Finland 2025 – Competition Highlights

On October 19, 2025, Helsinki became the stage for an extraordinary showcase of artistry and imagination as the World Championship of the World Bodypainting Festival took center stage in the Creative Make-up category.

Held within the vibrant atmosphere of I Love Me, Northern Europe’s largest beauty, fashion, wellness, and health fair, the event took place at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre (Messukeskus) from October 18–19. Alongside the thrilling world championship, the Nordic Awards honored exceptional talent in various Bodypainting and Facepainting categories.

A heartfelt thank-you goes out to our esteemed jury, whose expertise and passion elevated the competition:

Beyond the competition, the event fostered friendships, creative exchange, and the pure joy of artistic freedom — reminding us all why bodypainting continues to inspire audiences worldwide.

As the colors fade and the stages quiet down, the spirit of the festival remains alive in every participant and visitor who shared in this magical experience.

We sincerely hope for a new edition of the World Bodypainting Festival Finland next year — it would be a true pleasure to return to the beautiful North of Europe once again.
